Program
Day 1. KASSEL – Prague
In the morning we will begin our journey to the Czech Republic, but before we will stop at Dresden and admire the spectacular Baroque ensemble of Zwinger, with its known pavilions of the Carillon and the wall , with exterior view of the Opera House, the Cathedral and the Castle , the Old Masters gallery, which has made Dresden is known as the Florence of the Elbe.
Arrival in Prague at night .
Día 2 Prague
We’ll do a full day City Tour in Prague . The official guide (included) will show us the Prague Castle , considered the largest medieval fortress in the world . Inside the castle we’ll see St. Vitus Cathedral , the largest Gothic building in Prague , a monument built over 6 centuries . We’ll know the Golden Lane , this short and narrow street is named after the goldsmiths who inhabited in the seventeenth century , it is located inside the castle. In one of his houses Kafka lived .
Then we will see the Astronomical Clock in Prague , the world’s most famous medieval clock in the Town Hall Tower Old Town , Charles Bridge , the church of St. Nicholas in Old Town and the Prasna Torre Brana.
Day 3. PRAGA – BUDAPEST
In the morning we continue towards the capital of Hungary, Budapest. In the afternoon we’ll do a city tour walk half a day to visit the main tourist attractions of the city like the Fishermen’s Bastion (admission included), consisting of an elegant set of stairs from the Danube to the mountain, with the end of this part of the wall decorated towers, battlements, arches, arched staircases and statues with its breathtaking view of the Danube and Pest district. We will continue our visit to the Matthias Church (entrance included), built in commemoration of the Virgin Mary in the last third of the thirteenth century (it is known as the Matthias Church, and the king held here two marriages). In here was crowned the first High King of the dynasty of Anjou, Carlos Roberto .; then the Turks used as a mosque and it became later the main church of the city with the crowning event of the last two Hungarian Habsburg rulers.
Day 4. BUDAPEST
Full day trip to Visegrad, Esztergom and Szentendre, in a wonderful landscape. In the morning we’ll go by private coach and local guide to Visegrad, former royal Residenca with fascinating Danube valley , where we will visit the Castle and the Royal Palace (admission included ) views.
Then we continue to Esztergom , the center of the Catholic Church , to visit the Cathedral (admission included) . We ended the day in the baroque artists’ village Szentendre, where we will hike for its picturesque streets , and have the possibility to see the Marzipan Museum (admission included ) . Then return to Budapest.
Day 5. BUDAPEST – BRATISLAVA – VIENNA
In the morning we continue our trip and we will stop in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, the Danube town with an attractive historic core.
Arrival in the afternoon to Vienna and visit Schonbrunn Palace (entrance included) , also known as the Viennese Versailles, it is one of the major historical and cultural buildings in Austria, since the nineteenth century has been one of the major tourist attractions in Vienna and has appeared on postcards , various film documentaries and films.
Day 6. VIENNA – MUNICH
In the morning we’ll do a city tour with a local guide through the city in which we will know some of its corners and monuments , in the footsteps of the former Habsburg monarchy , walk through the stately Ringstrasse ( admiring the Postal Savings Bank Otto Wagner, the Museum of Applied Arts, the Stadtpark , the Vienna State Opera , the Imperial Palace , Parliament, the Burgtheater , and the symbol of the city, St. Stephen’s cathedral .
In the afternoon we continue toward Munich.
Day 7. MUNICH
In the morning we’ll do a City Tour (including guide)of the capital of Bavaria , which include among others , the Castle and Park Nynphemburg , the famous Glockenspiel Carillon , the Church of San Miguel and the Gothic Cathedral .
In the afternoon we will see the BMW Museum (admission included ) and the Olympic Park .
Day 8. MUNICH – COUNTRY OF ORIGEN
At the time indicated, transfert to airport.
