Program
Day 1: Home – Riva (Lago di Garda)
Arrival at the airport in Milano. continue to Lago di Garda, an important tourist area in the shadow of the Dolomite mountains in Northern Italy and the largest lake in Italy and surrounded by enchanted small villages. We will see Sirmione, famous for the ruins of a Roman villa known as the Grotto of Catullus and a 13th century castle, Salo, which has the longest promenade on Lake Garda and Limone, where you have lots of shopping opportunities.
Overnight in Riva.
DAY 2: Riva (Lago di Garda) – Bolzano
In the morning we will make a River Cruise (included). Then we continue our trip to Trento, where we make a short stop to see the medieval center, with its buildings restored to their original pastel colours and wooden balconies. Part of the medieval city wall is still visible in Piazza Fiera, We continue our trip to Val Gardena, with the small villages of Ortisei, Ste Christine, Wolkenstein and Castelrotto Overnight in Bolzano.
DAY 3: Bolzano – Alpbach
We continue to Klausen and Bresanona, where we make a stop to see the Cathedral. We will visit the Abbazia di Novacella, including a wine tasting (included). We continue to Fortezza, famous for its large fort and the historic railway-station.
We will cross the Brenner Pass to arrive to Austria, where we will drive along the Stubaital, before we arrive to Innsbruck, where we will visit the Imperial Palace Hofburg (included).
Continue to Alpbach, Overnight in Mayrhofen.
DAY 4: Alpbach – Oberammergau
We leave Austria to continue our trip to Germany. We will make a stop in Garmisch-Patenkirchen. Then we visit Ettal Abbey, including a visit of brewery museum and distillery (including liquor sample).
On our arrival to Oberammergau we take a ride with the nostalgic Laber Ropeway to Laber Mountain (included).
Overnight in Oberammergau.
DAY 5: Oberammergau
From Oberammergau we will go to the world famous castle Neuschwanstein (included), which has appeared prominently in several movies and was the inspiration for Disneyland’s Logo. Then we will visit Füssen. We return to Oberammergua via Reutte, Plansee and Linderhof, where we visit the Castle (included).
Overnight in Oberammergau.
DAY 6: Oberammergau – Munich
Today we will see two beautiful lakes, first Tegernsee (Bad Wiessee) and then Chiemsee, where we will make a Cruise (Prien – Herrenchiemsee – Prien). In Herrenchiemsee we will visit the Castle (included).
In the afternoon arrival to Munich, where we go to a big Shopping Mall.
Overnight in Munich.
DAY 7: Munich
In the morning we will make a Panoramic Tour of Munich with a local guide, seeing Palace of Nymphenburg, Siegestor and English Garden. We finish at the historic city centre, with the Marienplatz, Town hall, Cathedral, Viktualienmarkt, Hofbräuhaus and Karlsplatz (Stachus).
In the afternoon we will see the BMW World and Museum (included), afterwards we will see the Olympic Park with Olympic Tower.
Overnight in Munich.
DAY 8: Munich – Home
Transfer to airport for flight from Munich.
